I have much pleasure in testifying to the efficiency of Mr. Stonport, during the whole period whilst he was Employed.
2. Mr. Stonport also served as Acting Deputy Superintendent from 1st April 1880 to 28th August 1882, with the exception of the periods 24th July & 8th August 1880, 12th Septr to 24th Octr 1881; 27th Feby to 7th March 1882 & 11th April to 16th August 1882 when he acted as Captain Superintendent.
